Are you a bride who loves aromatherapy and is on the lookout for a new, relaxing, fun way of celebrating your bridal shower? If yes, then read along! I have just the thing for you which I’m sure you, along with your guests, will definitely enjoy.
I’ve been doing some research on aromas and how I can mix different scents to make it according to my own preference when I stumbled across an idea I surely would have done for my bridal shower if only I’ve thought of it way back! Given my love for relaxation, scents and my girls, a fun bridal shower would have consisted of making our own blends that we can name ourselves! How cool would that be?
If you’re interested in throwing something like this, then the first thing you would need to make it come to life is a scentful table that will hold bottles pre-filled with distilled water, bottles of safe and versatile essential oils and of course, several recipe cards to follow. We can call this table, drum rolls please… The Spray Station!
Below is the list of supplies for your Spray Station, which you can also design with various materials such as beautiful flowers, lights, candles, whichever would make you feel like the most wonderful bride!
- Distilled water: 2 ounces of water per bottle so you do the math!
- 2oz plastic bottles enough for your guests
- Essential Oils
- Index cards to write the recipes on
- Peel of labels: you can even use a simple masking tape for this, so that everyone can write the name of their chosen blend
Directions: Add water to the bottle, leaving room at the top to add oils. Shake before you spray!
Relaxing Oils: Not more than 15 drops per bottle

Crafting your own blends is also recommended, and everyone can be as clever as they want with the names they want to give the scents they’ve created. Just remember to keep the oils out of your eyes as this will cause irritation, and that the goal of the whole night is to have fun!
Happy scentful bridal shower, future bride!
